I ended up focusing and starting off the map with 4 land factories, 3 air factories, and 2 Naval factories. For the map that I played it was a 2 versus 2 team island scenario. The naval ships Cruisers can actually hold up to five nuclear warheads I found that really cool. I really like that you have to fight over resources kind of like in Starcraft or Age of Empires 2 every map comes down to a King of the Hill scenario. I found it really difficult to find mass and I ended up having to consistently go through the water and the Earth and what have you and recover is much Mass from tanks that were destroyed or ships or Naval factories were enemy buildings or trees. I'm definitely going to be checking out the mod scene and the built-in mod manager was beautifully done. Seems like there's a lot of nuances to explore. Yeah I got the impression that I was barely scratching the surface when I was playing this game. I like how they retained the idle workers function from Age of Empires and other real time strategy games. I like that they stayed true to the total Annihilation series and retains the commander and the camera and 3D and engine is absolutely stunning. I have to say that this one really was fun to play. My impressions of Supreme Commander is that it's a symmetrical real time strategy game. My favorite real time strategy games are usually asymmetrical and not symmetrical because I like the differences between the different races or civilizations or what have you.
